Bio

Originally from Montréal, Québec, I've been living in Vancouver, British Columbia since 1992, with the exception of a year-long sojourn in the San Francisco Bay Area during 2001-2002.

Since 1994, I've been living full-time aboard my sailboat, Ganache, with my husband Guylain, our cat and our dog. The boat is the site of our famous pre-Christmas Glug!Glug!Glug! parties.

I completed my Masters degree in Applied Science at the University of British Columbia in August, 1998. My topic was Craniofacial Reconstruction Using Hierarchical B-Spline Interpolation. I did my research under Dr. David Forsey from the Department of Computer Science and Dr. Rabab Ward from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and spent a good portion of my time in the Imager Computer Graphics Lab.

Most recently, I've been back at Radical Entertainment, first as a programmer and now as a Technical Project Manager. At the moment, I am working part-time while spending the rest of my time on a writing project. See my blog for details. Prior to that, I was a Graphics Software Engineer in the Studio Tools Department at Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, California. Formerly, I was Technical Director of the Pure3D team at Radical Entertainment. Feel free to take a look at my resume if you'd like to know more about what I've done and where I'm going.

Just For Fun

In February 1996, I helped organize a bareboat charter in the Bahamas. Here are the pictures.

I'm also maintaining the Demon Diodes Flagball page, a site to help keep track of old friends and teammates from McGill Engineering. Here is the McGill Engineering Undergraduates' Society.

I've recently taken a fledgling interest in photography. Here's my gallery. One of these days, I'll actually learn how to use my camera properly :-)

I got introduced to bellydance while in California. Here are some pics of my instructor Venus' studio show in Vancouver, December 2003.
